Today was my first day since Pat’s been back at work that Charlotte was not in school. I’m sure there will be good and challenging days and moments, but today has been enjoyable.
Here’s a photo of what’s going on right now… Eleanor is napping and I’m helping Charlotte paint.
Charlotte and I made paper airplanes earlier and the house is a mess with all the toys out, we’ll have fun with cleanup later. We even ran an errand to the post office together and friend Kristy came over. The three of us had good naps this afternoon too.
Gotta run, I heard it and Charlotte confirmed “Eleanor pooped Mommy”. Doody calls

Mom Sallie and Aunt Penny took me today for a little mini-shower / pampering for the mom-to-be. We all got pampering pedicures! Thank you Mom!

And, oh, yes, we did walk back to the car in flip flops. And yes, it was snowing here. Funny.

Girls are taking over our house!

We had our half way (20 week) appt. and ultrasound today. We found out, as you guessed from the headline, that we are having another girl. Charlotte is happy, she’s been talking about a baby sister for a few weeks now. Here’s the first portrait of our second daughter. She looks a lot like Charlotte, there are features we see even remembering back to Charlotte’s ultrasound.

p.s., we are not sharing names. It’s hard enough for two people to come to agreement, and we don’t want to name her until we meet her (did the same with Charlotte). So, if you ask, I’ll give you ideas such as Hammer, or Bold, or some other crazy name!

What’s it gonna be?

Well, with Charlotte we didn’t know if she was a girl or boy until the day she was born. This time around, we have decided to find out what we are having. Our ultrasound is scheduled for Oct. 27th. So you have a couple weeks to take the poll and tell us what you think we’re having!

We are officially announcing that our second child is on their way. I’m 3 months pregnant, heard the heartbeat this afternoon and all is well. I’ve asked Charlotte if she’d like to have a sister or a brother, she says “ya”. Then, I’ll ask, which one would you like, brother or sister? She’s says “ya”. More to come, but we thought we’d break the news.
