Pat took this picture of me today, I’m now 37 weeks. Just a few more weeks to go until we meet this little person inside me!

So, Pat and I had an appointment this morning with our midwives, just a check-up. I’m at 36 1/2 weeks, I asked for her to check to see if I am dilated at all (expecting her to say I’m not). Well… I am 2cm! Which of course, doesn’t mean a whole lot except that my body is progressing, and I guess childbirth is imminent! She said I could walk around like this for 3 (or longer) weeks or it could happen sooner. She also said I should be grateful, that it is often painful and time-consuming for first births to get to 2cm and I did it without even knowing it.
It’s weird…. it’s like my body was made to do this or something

Saturday I was working downtown at KeyArena while the Blue Angels were doing their show. I managed to get a few decent shots off while setting up for the game.

Saturday night, I was working downtown, and when I got off, I decided to go check out this park I had heard about that has great views of the city and the Space Needle. When I rolled up, the Seafair fireworks on Lake Washington were just wrapping up. I got my tripod setup in time to capture this cool shot (Click on the pictures for bigger versions).
After the fireworks settled down, I put my 14 mm fisheye lens on, and shot a nice time exposure with an airplane flying through, looking like a shooting star.
